Digital Motion Designer

The Responsibilities
* As our Digital Motion Designer, your primary responsibilities will include designing digital assets across all digital platforms and supplying the digital team or 3rd party advertisers in the correct formats to hit campaign deadlines.
* Full knowledge and understanding of formats across all platforms. Understand the brief, pro‑actively work with colleagues to deliver designs on time, hit deadlines and to a high standard.
* Participate in design discussions and give feedback during planning and strategy meetings.
* Translate ideas into design proposals, tailored to work across all platforms and channels and in synergy with other non‑digital campaigns.
* Channels & formats include: create digital assets in static, video and motion GIF for a range of platforms from social, CRM, display advertising, eCommerce, website, mobile and apps.
* Creating and editing video content with supers/graphics (web site, YouTube, social channels, in‑store digital screens).
* Building and creating CRM/Emails – building to a brief adding your creative flair within brand guidelines.
* Creative text or video content GIFs.
* Social from stories to reels.
* Staying up to date on industry trends and the latest digital motion design software.
* Test assets and ensure they are fit for purpose.
* Fully understand the variety of formats required to optimise our customers’ digital experience.
* Be our internal expert on best practice digital motion design.
About You!
* Expertise with Adobe Creative Suite, including Adobe Aftereffects, InDesign, Photoshop. (Nice to haves: Adobe XD, Adobe Premier, Dreamweaver, HTML/CSS knowledge)
* Proven digital content creation skills covering digital assets for a variety of target audiences and platforms.
* Experience in the design thinking process, agile development, and delivering output efficiently.
* Experience working in a collaborative team environment but able to work on your own, using initiative to solve digital dilemmas.
* Must have a proven history working in a digital design role. Agency or client‑side in‑house design experience within a retailer would be beneficial to this role.
* Proactive approach, ability to overcome hurdles and focus on delivery of projects on time – allowing for review and feedback.
* Strong knowledge of current digital design best practices and web production techniques.
* A good understanding of visual design principles.
* Strong portfolio showing the breadth of digital design capabilities.
