Are you a compassionate and dedicated SEN Teacher passionate about supporting pupils with additional needs to achieve their full potential?
GSL Education are seeking an experienced SEN Teacher to join a school in Dronfield (S18). This role provides the opportunity to deliver personalised learning, support social and emotional development, and create a safe, inclusive environment for all students.
As an SEN Teacher, you will:
* Plan and deliver differentiated lessons tailored to the needs of SEN pupils.
* Support pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development.
* Collaborate with teaching staff, SENCOs, and parents to ensure holistic support.
* Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing constructive feedback.
* Promote positive behaviour and maintain a safe, inclusive classroom environment.
* Uphold safeguarding and child protection standards at all times.
Requirements for SEN Teacher:
* UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is mandatory.
* Proven experience teaching SEN pupils in primary or secondary schools.
* Strong knowledge of SEN strategies, interventions, and frameworks.
* Excellent communication, organisation, and classroom management skills.
* An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
* A full CV covering the last 10 years of employment, with explanations for any gaps.
