We’re looking for a Pre-Construction Manager to join our Kier Places team based in Isle of Dogs.

Hours: 40 hours per week (08:00 - 17:00)

Join our dynamic team working on an exciting Fire Remediation project as part of our 15-year contract with L&Q for the Major Works Improvement Programme. This role offers the opportunity to lead pre-construction delivery on external wall remediation works across multiple blocks in the Isle of Dogs. You’ll be at the forefront of creating innovative solutions that meet client requirements whilst ensuring safety, sustainability, and quality throughout the pre‑construction phase.
Responsibilities
* Leading and managing pre-construction staff throughout the tender process, from initial inception through to contract award
* Designing innovative solutions, developing cost plans, and ensuring implementation meets or exceeds client requirements
* Identifying and managing contractual, financial, and operational risks whilst maximising opportunities to achieve sustainable profit targets
* Building strong stakeholder relationships with clients and design teams, ensuring clear communication and collaboration throughout
* Supporting the development and wellbeing of your team, fostering an inclusive environment where diverse perspectives are valued
Qualifications
* Demonstrable leadership skills with a collaborative, trusted, and focused approach to team management
* Excellent understanding of the pre‑construction process and ability to translate client requirements into outstanding project solutions
* Proven track record of successful work winning across multiple sectors, including public and private
* Skill at developing talent within your team, creating opportunities for growth and knowledge sharing
