Mencap runs and manages homes across the UK for people with a learning disability, and maintains outdoor spaces that are important for the people we support to interact with nature and with each other. Your time and gardening skills as a Volunteer will make a big difference to these spaces. We need a volunteer to help with maintaining and improving the garden in one of our residential care homes in Camberley. The garden is medium sized and would benefit from a volunteer coming to help once or twice a month – any day of the week or time is ok. As a volunteer, you wouldn’t need to be an expert gardener, but you will need some gardening experience and be able to work independently to keep the garden tidy.
