Role Summary
Locum Consultant Public Health Medicine – 6 months, based in Norfolk. Enhanced DBS required.
Essential: Inclusion in GMC/GDC Specialist Register or UKPHR for Public Health Specialists and demonstrated ability to provide expert advice on complex public health issues and strategies.
Flexible and hybrid working available.
Key Accountabilities
* Provide strategic leadership on healthy living and health improvement, including all-age healthy weight, nutrition, smoking, vaping and behaviour change.
* Lead an internal strategic review of healthy weight and nutrition.
* Advise on wider programmes such as NHS Health Checks and prevention initiatives.
* Work collaboratively across the system to influence long-term public health outcomes.
Key Experience & Skills
* Inclusion in GMC/GDC Specialist Register or UKPHR for Public Health Specialists.
* Evidence of CPD in line with Faculty of Public Health requirements (or equivalent).
* Demonstrated ability to provide expert advice on complex public health issues and strategies.
