Tax Manager (Industry) REED EXCLUSIVE! £60,000 - £70,000 | Full Time | Permanent | Newly Created Role Reed Finance is exclusively partnered with a thriving and expanding group of international businesses in the Moira area, in the appointment of a qualified & experienced Tax Manager. Working closely with the Group Finance Director, and as part of the wider management team, the primary focus of this role is to ensure tax compliance and provide strategic advice to minimise tax liabilities across the Group, in accordance with law and best practice relating to UK and Ireland jurisdictions. As all of the businesses continue to show significant growth, this is an exciting time to be part of the financial strategy to develop and safeguard for the future. Key areas of responsibility include: Managing the Group's tax affairs, across NI and ROI jurisdictions, including corporation tax compliance and preparation and filing of monthly VAT returns Preparation of IFRS tax accounting schedules Analysing financial information to provide legal, strategic advice on minimisation of tax liabilities Supporting cross-border transactions Preparation of transfer pricing documentation Preparation of presentations and reports as required Liaising with and supporting the group's network of UK & overseas finance teams on tax-related matters Assisting with merger and acquisition activities as well as Group reorganisations Continuous development of skills and knowledge of tax legislative changes and industry standards About you! The ideal candidate should be a corporate tax specialist with relevant post-qualified tax experience (ACA and/or CTA) Knowledge and experience of the UK corporation tax regime is essential, whilst experience of international taxation, indirect taxes (VAT) and employment taxes would be desirable Strong project management and tax technical skills will be required, combined with a proactive approach and a willingness to learn For more information on this excellent career opportunity, apply here or please contact Laurence at REED Belfast.
