Purpose of the Job
Leading the team to ensure best practice and achieve consistent performance whilst providing a high standard of food and beverage service on a day to day basis.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
1. Ensure that the highest standards of service are achieved.
2. Promote a truly customer focused working environment.
3. Assist the manager in training all staff and understand the service culture within the outlets.
4. Assist the Food & Beverage Manager in ensuring all business is appropriately staffed at all times, in line with planned Rota’s and forecast / budget.
5. Monitor all products and ensure that they are to specification and that they are consistent.
6. Assist management with operational duties, including stock takes, staff rotas.
7. Have a flexible attitude, you will be required to work on shift basis including evening and weekends.
Other Duties and Responsibilities
8. The post holder will be expected to participate in performance review and developmental activities.

10. Qualifications/Training
Essential
12. Minimum of 3 GCSEs at grade A-D (incl. English & Maths) or equivalent experience.

13. NVQ level 1 in a relevant subject area.
Experience/Knowledge

14. Previous experience of working in a catering environment / Hotel / Bar.
Skills/Abilities

15. The desire and ability to work as part of a team.
16. Good customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with people.
17. Good computer skills.
