We're recruiting on behalf of a leading precision engineering company in Poole that specialises in aerospace components. They're seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to join their team and support the delivery of high-spec projects in a quality-driven environment.
Location: Poole, Dorset
Salary: £39,000 - £45,000 DOE
Hours: 39 hours/week, Monday to Thursday (Friday off!)
Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent
Start Date: ASAP
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and plan optimal manufacturing methods and processes.
* Create detailed workshop job packs to AS9100 standards for shop floor release.
* Interpret and work to customer specifications and quality benchmarks.
* Provide hands-on technical support to production teams.
* Identify and coordinate tooling requirements for new components.
* Collaborate closely with both customers and suppliers to ensure smooth project delivery.
What We're Looking For
* Proven experience in aerospace or high-precision manufacturing.
* Strong understanding of machining techniques and manufacturing workflows.
* Solid knowledge of materials and surface treatment processes.
* Commercial awareness and ability to balance technical and business priorities.
* Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
* Experience with CAD systems (Catia preferred).
