The Role Transporting steel products using flatbed trailers Securing loads using chaining and sheeting Carrying out manual handling as part of daily duties Early morning starts between 04:00 – 07:00, Monday to Friday No weekend or bank holiday work Pay & Benefits £17.00 per hour for the first 50 hours £21.00 per hour after 52.5 hours 30-minute unpaid break deducted daily 25 days holiday (including a reserved period for Christmas shutdown) Requirements Valid Class 1 (CE) licence Maximum of 6 penalty points (no major endorsements) Steel experience preferred, but not essential What We're Looking For We ideally want drivers with steel experience, but we are open to candidates who understand that this is not typical xxuwjjq distribution centre work .
The role involves a significant amount of manual labour, so a strong work ethic and physical readiness are essential.
