Farm Liaison Manager
Location: Kent (with regular UK travel)
Salary: £50,000 – £60,000 + benefits
The Role
We are looking for an organised and practical Farm Liaison Manager to act as the main point of contact for a network of agricultural producers.
You will visit farms regularly, ensure compliance with welfare and assurance standards, and coordinate the practical aspects of supply — including audits, packaging, sampling, and data reporting.
This position combines field work with office-based coordination and requires someone who enjoys building relationships and solving day-to-day operational challenges.
Key Responsibilities
* Visit contracted farms to provide support and guidance
* Coordinate producer audits, sampling, and compliance checks
* Maintain accurate farm data, certification records, and production forecasts
* Manage packaging and materials requirements for each site
* Liaise with suppliers and internal teams to resolve any on-farm or logistical issues
* Monitor performance, identify risks, and drive continuous improvement
* Support the onboarding of new producers and ensure all standards are met before supply begins
Skills & Experience
* Experience in farm liaison, agricultural coordination, or assurance roles
* Knowledge of farm assurance schemes (e.g. Red Tractor, RSPCA Assured, Lion Code or similar)
* Good understanding of welfare, biosecurity, and food safety principles
* Strong organisational and communication skills
* Confident with data and record keeping (Excel or database systems)
* Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel regularly
Package
* £50,000 – £60,000 depending on experience
* 40-hour week, hybrid between office and field
* Regular travel across the UK
