Job Title: Document Controller Location: Cambridge Salary: £35,000 per annum The Role: * Reporting to the Design Manager and Estimating Manager. * Managing and maintaining project documentation in line with company and client requirements. * Supporting the design management and estimating teams by ensuring accurate control, distribution, and retrieval of documents. * Preparing, uploading, and distributing drawings, specifications, and related documentation. * Ensuring document compliance, version control, and traceability across all projects. * Assisting with pre, mid, and post-tender documentation processes. * Supporting site teams and office staff with document queries and access requirements. * Attending project meetings where document control input is required. * Liaising with clients, consultants, and subcontractors to manage the flow of information. * Maintaining secure digital and physical document storage systems. The Company: * A long-established M&E contractor with a strong reputation in the building services industry. * Over 50 years of experience delivering high-quality mechanical, electrical, and public health (MEP) installations. * Annual turnover of £55m. * Works across commercial, healthcare, and education sectors. The Ideal Candidate: * Will have 3 years’ experience in a document control or similar administrative/project support role. * Previous experience supporting construction or M&E projects is desirable. * Strong organisational skills with an eye for detail and accuracy. * Good knowledge of document management systems * Excellent communication skills and ability to liaise across different teams. * Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook). * Able to commute to Cambridge.
