Registered Manager - Specialist Mental Health Service
Salary: Up to £42,000 + Bonus Opportunity
Annual Leave: 32 Days (inclusive of bank holidays)
Location: South Birmingham
Are you a compassionate and resilient leader with a passion for delivering high-quality mental health care? I am seeking a dedicated Registered Manager to lead a specialist residential service supporting adults with complex and enduring mental health conditions, including borderline personality disorder, schizophrenia, and individuals with forensic backgrounds.

What You'll Bring:
1. NVQ Level 5 in Leadership & Management (or equivalent)
2. Proven experience managing services for individuals with complex mental health needs, including personality disorders and forensic histories
3. Strong understanding of risk management, safeguarding, and trauma-informed care
4. Confident with IT systems and digital tools
5. Willingness to participate in on-call duties
Your Day-to-Day:
6. Lead and inspire a skilled and compassionate care team
7. Deliver truly person-centred and trauma-informed care
8. Oversee staffing, rotas, recruitment, and training
9. Manage budgets, compliance, and governance
10. Build strong relationships with families, external professionals, and commissioning bodies
11. Conduct robust assessments and update care/support plans
12. Support residents in developing independent living skills and community integration
13. Handle safeguarding, referrals, and complex care planning
14. Ensure adherence to DoLS, the Mental Capacity Act, and relevant legislation
15. Implement and uphold policies and procedures with a focus on safety and dignity
