Compost is looking for an Assistant Producer to join and work with us in house in Dalston, London on a range of exciting documentary, game–trailer, film animation, and motion‑graphics projects.
We are a creative studio that covers a range of outputs, from photoreal VFX to motion graphics and animation work. As a small studio, the role requires the applicant to cover many aspects of helping organise our work.

Responsibilities include helping to build our team—searching and assisting in the hiring of new artists for specific roles, both for freelance contracts and permanent positions; assisting in the set‑up of shoots, casting, location scouting, assembly of small film crews, kit hire, and ensuring COVID precautions are in place; working with the team to pitch and win work and create project schedules; working closely between clients and artists to ensure expectations are met, client feedback is addressed, and artists are happy; and assisting with day‑to‑day running of projects and upkeep of the studio.
Requirements include knowledge of Google Sheets, Google Suite, Excel, Word publishing, familiarity with editing software such as Premiere Pro; experience in documentary, CGI, film, and motion design; strong organisational skills; and experience in 3D/CGI, 2D and live‑action production.
