About The Role
Mitie is proud to work in partnership with the London Fire Brigade, delivering high-quality facilities management services that help keep London's critical services running smoothly. We are now looking for a professional, welcoming, and proactive Corporate Receptionist to join our on-site team. As the first point of contact, you will deliver a warm, professional, and efficient front‑of‑house service for staff, visitors, and contractors. Representing both Mitie and the London Fire Brigade, you'll ensure every interaction reflects our high standards of service while maintaining a welcoming and well‑organised environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide a warm, courteous, and professional welcome to all visitors and staff.
* Manage reception systems including visitor management, meeting room bookings.
* Handle administrative and clerical tasks, including data entry, email correspondence, and document preparation.
* Coordinate meeting room schedules, ensuring spaces are prepared with the right equipment and materials.
* Manage the reception area, ensuring it is always clean, organised, and presentable.
* Support the wider site team with administrative tasks.
* Undertake Fire Warden Duties in accordance with agreed processes.
* Act in accordance with all health and safety and security policies.
What We're Looking For
We're seeking someone who is confident, customer‑focused, and takes pride in delivering excellent service. You'll need to be highly organised and able to multitask in a busy, high‑profile environment.
Essential Skills & Experience
* Minimum of 1 year experience in receptionist, workplace co‑ordinator or similar role (essential).
* Strong IT literacy, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* A professional appearance and commitment to high service standards.
* Ability to manage sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.
* Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to tasks and problem‑solving.
* SIA Door Supervisor license is preferred.
