Acoustic Engineer - Surrey

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and dynamic Acoustic Engineer to join their team of dedicated professionals and work on a diverse range of exciting projects.
About the Role
As an Acoustic Engineer, you will be responsible for:
Conducting environmental noise and planning assessments.
Performing sound insulation testing.
Delivering expertise in building and architectural acoustics projects.
Contributing to acoustics in schools and educational buildings.
Offering support in product design and development.
Undertaking field testing at sites across the UK.
Collaborating with property developers, local councils, and consulting engineers to achieve practical and effective design solutions.
Ensuring compliance with relevant regulatory standards and addressing planning issues.
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
A degree or diploma in Acoustics or a related field.
Previous experience in an acoustic consultancy environment (preferred).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Word and Excel.
A full UK driving licence.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
A self-motivated, dynamic, and proactive approach to work.
Responsibilities
Your day-to-day tasks will include:
Conducting noise and vibration assessments on-site.
Preparing detailed reports and providing recommendations to clients.
Working closely with colleagues to develop innovative noise control solutions.
Liaising with clients, developers, and local authorities to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
