Duty Manager – Hassocks Sports Centre
An exciting opportunity to join Freedom Leisure as a Duty Manager, ensuring high levels of service for our customers. The role involves managing a team, maintaining a clean and safe environment, and contributing to business performance.
Responsibilities
* Actively manage, develop and motivate a team of operational staff.
* Be responsible for day‑to‑day duty management and running of the leisure centre to the highest standard.
* Contribute to and understand the business and budgetary performance of the centre.
* Be a proactive member of the leisure centre team.
* Experience problem solving, customer service and staff management.
* Respond to variable demands and think on your feet.
Requirements
* Experience working in a Duty Management or similar role.
* Ability to work flexibly with a level of autonomy and decision‑making confidence.
* Fitness qualification is desirable.

* Hours: Casual hours, as and when required.
* Closing Date: 5th June 2026
* Salary: Up to £13.20 per hour
