With a newly established and experienced Childrens Services Leadership Team, a positive ILACS inspection outcome, and our unwavering ambition to further develop and transform our ChildrensServices and partnerships to enable children, young people and families to flourish and thrive, there has never been a more thrilling time to joinus. Our Childrens Assurance Partnerships and Evaluation (CAPE) Service is expanding, and we are excited to further build a dedicated and sustainable infrastructure. We need individuals with the skills, knowledge, and expertise to contribute to key functions such as strategic development, partnership working, corporate and community parenting, voice and engagement, governance and reporting, systems and processes, assurance, self-evaluation, project developments, statutory inspection, and regulatory compliance. In the context of our relational approach, we are committed to ensuring that children and young peoples voices are first, centre and last in everything we do, and we currently have an exciting opportunity within the CAPE Service for an Advocacy and Voice Officer Are you resilient, passionate about the rights of children and young people, and enthusiastic about building genuine, meaningful relationships to support empower and enable them to be heard and feel heard in their lives? Do you have the drive and ambition to work creatively and with children and young people to make a real difference in their lives? We are looking for someone who is experienced and knowledgeable about the rights of children and young people and who can demonstrate positive change as a result of advocating on their behalf. The role will: be a champion for childrens voices, advocating on behalf of, with and empowering them to be heard and involved in relation to their individual plans and decisions that impact on them support, enable and champion the voice of children and young people to shape and influence service development and transformation involve working across Childrens Services and the wider partnership to champion childrens voices, challenge and support them to take account of and respond to the views and experiences of children and young people involve some group work, delivery of training and raising awareness of childrens rights Candidates will have a range of methods and mechanisms for communicating and engaging with children and young people with a range of needs as well as staff and managers across Childrens Services and the wider partnership.
