Job Title: Water Hygiene / Remedial Engineer
Location: Leeds, West Yorkshire
Salary/Benefits: £26k - £39k + Training & Benefits
We are seeking a multi-skilled Water Hygiene / Remedial Engineer to cover sites across Yorkshire and the North of England.
You will be conducting reactive and pre‑planned compliance duties, interpreting legionella risk assessments to determine any required remedial works. For easier travel, it would be beneficial to have good access to the M1 and / or M62.
The client is a growing name within the Water Hygiene / Legionella industry, with a mixed portfolio of clients, including commercial, domestic and public sector.

Experience / Qualifications:
* Hands‑on experience working as a Water Hygiene / Remedial Engineer
* Hold NVQ Level 1 and 2 in Plumbing plus the G3 Unvented ticket
* NVQ Level 3 in Plumbing is advantageous
* Ideally hold Confined Spaces and Legionella Awareness training
* Strong working knowledge of ACOP L8 and HSG 274 guidelines
* Flexible to travel in line with company needs
* Good literacy, numeracy and IT skills
The Role:
* Undertake a wide range of reactive and PPM compliance duties
* Deadleg removals
* Flexihose removals
* CWST cleans and disinfections
* Tank reburbishments, replacements and installations
* Pipework adjustments and replacements
* Showerhead descales
* Liaise with legionella risk assessors to identify required remedial works
* Complete regular service reports
* Order parts and materials as required
