We are seeking enthusiastic, flexible, and confident Primary Teachers to provide day-to-day supply cover across a range of supportive primary schools in Burton-on-Trent. This role is ideal for teachers who enjoy variety, value flexibility, and want to work on a schedule that suits their lifestyle.
About the Role
As a Day-to-Day Primary Teacher, you will deliver pre-planned lessons, support pupils' learning, and maintain a positive classroom environment when regular teachers are absent. Opportunities are available across EYFS, Key Stage 1, and Key Stage 2.
Responsibilities
Deliver pre-planned lessons across EYFS, KS1, or KS2
Confidently manage classroom behaviour using positive strategies
Quickly adapt to different school settings and routines
Ensure a safe, supportive, and engaging learning environment
Build positive relationships with pupils and staff
Follow safeguarding and school policies at all times
Requirements
To apply, you must have:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Recent UK teaching experience within a primary school
Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
A solid understanding of the primary curriculum
A valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
Flexibility to work across multiple schools in Burton-on-Trent
Desirable Experience
Teaching experience across EYFS, KS1 and/or KS2
Ability to personalise lessons and adapt to class needs
Experience supporting SEND learners
Strong communication and organisational skills
