Role Overview:
As a Head Registered Veterinary Nurse, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional veterinary care, supporting the veterinary team, and ensuring smooth clinic operations. Salary: £35,000 - £37,500 per year
Job Type: Full-time, 40 hours per week
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage a team of veterinary nurses and support staff.
* Provide high-quality care to animals in line with practice protocols.
* Assist with surgical procedures, anaesthesia, and consultations.
* Oversee the day-to-day operations of the practice, ensuring efficient workflow.
* Support and mentor junior staff, helping to develop their clinical skills.
* Ensure the practice is compliant with all relevant legislation and safety standards.
* Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized working environment.
* Help to deliver excellent customer service, building strong relationships with clients.
Skills and Experience Required:
* Registered Veterinary Nurse with RCVS membership.
* At least 2 years of experience as a Registered Veterinary Nurse, with some leadership experience preferred.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
* Passion for delivering high standards of patient care and service.
