As an Assistant Team Manager, you will be instrumental in shaping a positive impact on families. Working closely with the Team Manager, you will manage and supervise a number of qualified Social Workers and you will be keeping the needs of vulnerable young people firmly at the heart of all you do. We have a local offer for care leavers and 'The Leaving Care Forum,' complementing the Children in Care service, as we strive to enhance inclusion and participation for all our looked-after and care-experienced young individuals. To qualify for this position, you need a social work qualification, registration with Social Work England, and experience in a leadership or supervisory role, with a level 4 management qualification being preferable. You will have at least 3 years' experience of working in children and families' social care.
