The Opportunity
We’re delighted to be partnering with a leading PE-backed EdTech organisation entering an exciting period of transformation. Following recent private equity investment, the next six months will be critical in laying the foundations for the company’s next phase of scale.
This is a pivotal role to re-establish HR fundamentals within a fast-growing, PE-backed environment. You’ll be shaping how the organisation manages people, performance, and compliance as it scales, implementing HR best practice across the UK.
This organisation offers a forward-thinking, family-first culture, transforming early years education through innovation and care. You will report directly to the Chief People Officer.
Key Responsibilities
* Audit, rewrite and realign all existing HR policies and procedures.
* Build and embed a proactive ER framework and define the future ER team architecture.
* Support and coach regional managers to handle complex employee relations and safeguarding issues.
* Drive due diligence and people risk management as part of wider organisational readiness.
* Partner with the Head of People Operations to introduce scalable HR processes.
* Foster psychological safety and consistency across a highly people-centric environment.
Ideal Profile
* Deep HR expertise across ER, policy, and safeguarding environments.
* Proven experience in complex, multi-site, or regulated sectors.
* Exceptional stakeholder management and emotional maturity.
* Experience of working within PE-backed environments is highly desirable.
* Able to work from the St Albans area 2 days per week
