Overview
This is a great opportunity to work as an Area Security Officer for a leading global security and outsourcing group, specialising in outsourcing of business processes in sectors where security and safety risks are considered a strategic threat. You must have a full clean UK driving license and your own transport to apply for this position.
Position: Area Security Officer
Location: Birmingham / Worcester
Pay Rate: £12.50 per hour
Hours: 42 hours a week contract
Shifts: Days, Nights and Weekends - must be fully flexible
Your Time at Work
Covering a range of sites across the Birmingham / Worcester area, your duties will include:
* Greeting staff and visitors
* Controlling access in and out of the building
* Gatehouse duties
* Searching vehicles and bags
* Patrolling the premises and ensuring security protocols are being adhered to
* Dealing with disturbances/ issues and security incidents
* Dealing with first aid and incident reporting

It is crucial to have great communication and customer service skills. All our admin is digital and paperless, so you'll need to be tech-savvy enough to use our digital devices.
Our perfect Security Officer will need to be aged 18 or over, a confident communicator who is a team player with the drive to provide a friendly and professional service at all times.
