Front of House Warehouse Manager – IKEA
Location: Edinburgh, Scotland, United Kingdom.
We’re looking to welcome a Warehouse Manager to join our Fulfilment Operations team. At IKEA the role of a Warehouse Manager is known as a Fulfillment Operations Team Leader.
What We Offer
* Start date of employment will be discussed at interview.
* Starting salary for this role is £29,215 per annum; final salary offer will be based on skills and experience.
* 39 hours working 5 days per week, including late evenings and alternate weekends.
What You'll Need to Have
* Experience of leadership in a busy warehouse environment with the ability to prioritise and organise your own and others' workload.
* Results‑driven approach with a clear customer focus and ability to meet agreed budgets and goals, with the ability to make quick decisions and take personal initiatives, open to change and highly flexible.
* Leading others, good communication skills that can assist in building relationships with co‑workers and customers.
* Ability to implement structural ways of working within the area of responsibility, with problem‑solving experience and proficient computer literacy.
* Eager to contribute a fresh outlook and a can‑do mindset to the team.
What You'll Be Doing Day to Day
* Ensure efficient daily operation within fulfilment operations, to ensure products are available to customers.
* Responsible for coaching, developing and inspiring a motivated team, maintaining a work environment which supports equality, diversity and inclusion, and well‑being.
* Maintain a clean, organised and safe work environment, adhering to IKEA health, safety, and security regulations and Code of Conduct.
* Work with the team to reach business goals, review workloads to ensure daily volume handling and meet seasonal demands, all while keeping costs low.
