ROLE OVERVIEW The Quality Control Technologist is responsible for conducting laboratory-based quality assessments to ensure products meet the highest standards of safety, performance, and regulatory compliance. This role plays a key part in maintaining robust quality control processes and supporting product development activities through accurate testing and documentation. KEY OBJECTIVES & EXPECTATIONS Perform a range of laboratory quality checks to verify product conformity, using established methodologies and instrumentation. Maintain strict control over testing accuracy and output quality, ensuring all activities align with internal R&D processes and standards. Manage short- and long-term QC testing schedules, applying project management principles as needed. Contribute effectively as part of a team, operating in alignment with company expectations for safety, quality, efficiency, and environmental responsibility. Support laboratory operations through routine calibration and maintenance of scientific instruments. Assist with formulation preparation and related laboratory tasks. Follow all safety procedures, participate in job safety analysis, and maintain excellent housekeeping standards. Uphold and contribute to the laboratory's ISO quality management system, including participation in audits.
