Product Owner (6 month Secondment) We are looking for a Product Owner to join us on a 6-month Secondment in a key role within two of the biggest and most respected content and analytics brands in the sports betting industry. This is a hugely exciting opportunity to deliver experiences and products that will be viewed and enjoyed by over 1 million people per week on Timeform and Sporting Life. You’ll become a valuable interaction point between agile product and technology teams for new key products and upgrades. Taking high level requirements, you will distil down to low level deliverables that can be understood by the development team and tested against prior to acceptance. Working with the Product and Technology Teams, you will also co-ordinate internal demos, update project plans and feed into the release planning to see ideas brought to life for our customers. What you’ll do: Collaborating with both current customers and the wider market to understand and anticipate their needs and translate them into product requirements Be accountable for the timely availability and accuracy of requirements for projects, ensuring the engineering teams can develop software as efficiently as possible Be an outstanding communicator, comfortable capturing complex requirements from all areas of the business Write epics and user stories which feed into a prioritised backlog, ensuring that the value of each piece of work has been assessed, is measurable and has been agreed Take ownership of driving the value being delivered across teams Provide mentoring to other product owners Contributing to operational readiness processes for new releases and provides feature training to relevant teams Where appropriate, co-ordinate with 3rd party content and technology providers to ensure timely and quality delivery/integration of external product features as specified Update our business on exciting new releases, things in the pipeline and product performance.
