Deputy Home Manager – HC-One
As Deputy Home Manager, you will ensure the level of clinical care we offer exceeds professional and statutory standards. You will provide specialist nursing support, take responsibility for resident care in the Home Manager's absence, and supervise and coach colleagues to deliver a service that is empathy‑rich and people‑centred.
Responsibilities
* Provide specialist nursing support and advice to residents and staff.
* Take responsibility for resident care in the Home Manager’s absence.
* Supervise, coach and mentor colleagues in delivering person‑centred care.
* Maintain accurate and meaningful care records.
* Identify and respond to safeguarding concerns, and report/seek advice when needed.
* Attend safeguarding training and undertake additional training as required.
Qualifications
* Valid NMC PIN.
* Knowledge of National Standards and the NMC code of practice.
* Experience in person‑centred care planning within a care home.
* Excellent time‑management skills and the ability to keep meaningful records.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills; a positive, kind, and mentor‑like approach.
