We are looking for a compassionate GP to join our team, dedicated to providing high-quality patient care and able to work confidently and effectively in a fast-paced primary care setting. We are a large GP practices in Pimlico, caring for over 15,000 - and a founding member of the newly formed Independant PCN - Westminster Living Well.
Key Information
* Sessions: 4-7 per week (depending on preference).

Training Practice
As a Health Education England-approved training practice, we regularly welcome GP Registrars, Foundation Doctors, and Medical Students along with nursing, and pharmacists from various professional training programmes. We have a strong culture of learning and development throughout the practice, with a clear focus on community-based training. A large number of our clinicians are involved in teaching and mentoring students. We are also committed to supporting our GPs to develop their own specialist interests and continue to grow within their roles.
Main duties of the job
Job responsibilities
Provide high-quality, evidence-based care to our patients
Conduct face to face, telephone, and online consultations.
Manage acute and chronic conditions in line with national and local guidelines
Undertake home visits
Participate in care planning and health promotion for patients with long term conditions
Issue prescriptions appropriately in accordance with practice and NHS policy
Review test results, hospital letters and correspondence promptly
Ensure accurate and timely clinical record keeping using systmone clinical system
Quality & Governance
Contribute to the achievement of QoF, Enhanced Services, and other clinical targets
Participate in clinical audits, significant event analysis, and learning reviews.
Promote evidence-based practice and participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives.
Maintain awareness of Safeguarding responsibilities for both adults & Children
Adhere to all relevant practice and NHS policies including infection control, confidentiality and information governance.
Professional Development
Engage in appraisals and revalidation as required by the GMC and NHS England
Maintain continued professional development (CPD) and attend mandatory training sessions
Support teaching and mentoring or supervision of medical students.

Pimlico Health @ The Marven is a large GP practice based in Pimlico.
Our clinical team consists of 5 Partners, 1 Salaried GPs, 2 Advanced Clinical Practitioners, 3 Nurses, and 2 Healthcare Assistants, 2 GP Assistants and supported by a large reception/administrative team. As part of the Westminster Living Well Primary Care Network (PCN), we have additional support from the Home Visiting Team, Dietitians, Health & Wellbeing Coaches, Podiatrists, Care-Coordinators, Clinical Pharmacists, and a Social Prescribing Team.
Job responsibilities
The following are the core responsibilities of the salaried GP. There may be on occasion, a requirement to carry out other tasks; this will be dependent upon factors such as workload and staffing levels:
The delivery of highly effective medical care to the entitled population
Generic prescribing adhering to local and national guidance
Effective management of long-term conditions
Processing of administration in a timely manner, including referrals, repeat prescription requests and other associated administrative tasks
Maintain accurate clinical records in conjunction with good practice, policy and guidance
Working collaboratively, accepting an equal share of the practice workload
Adhere to best practice recommended through clinical guidelines and the audit process
Contribute to the successful implementation of continuous improvement and quality initiatives within the practice
Accept delegated responsibility for a specific area (or areas) or the QOF
Ensure compliance with the appraisal process
Prepare and complete the revalidation process
Commit to self-learning and instil an ethos of continuing professional development across the practice team
Review and adhere to practice protocols and policies at all times

* Appropriate defence indemnity (MPS/MDU)
* Evidence of current validation Evidence of last appraisal
* Eligibility to practice in the UK independently
