Responsibilities:
* Support the class teacher in delivering engaging, tailored lesson plans.
* Encourage children’s confidence and independence within the classroom.
* Assist with academic tasks across subjects such as literacy and numeracy.
* Monitor and record pupil progress, providing feedback to the class teacher.
* Build positive, nurturing relationships with pupils to maintain a safe and inclusive environment.
* (Desirable) Provide additional support to pupils with SEND, adapting activities to meet their individual needs.
Requirements:
* Experience working with children, ideally within a primary school.
* A genuine passion for helping children reach their full potential.
* Patience, flexibility, and a proactive approach to supporting diverse needs.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
* A relevant qualification (Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant or similar) is desirable, not essential.
* An enhanced DBS check will be required.
* Ability to travel between schools is desirable but not essential.
