Griddle Chef / Griddle Cook (Full-Time & Part-Time)

Job Type: Full-Time and Part-Time Positions Available
Working Hours: Monday to Sunday, various shifts available between 6:30am and 2:30pm.
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and reliable Griddle Chef to join our busy café team. The successful candidate will be confident working in a fast-paced kitchen environment, preparing and cooking breakfast and brunch menu items to a consistently high standard.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and cook breakfast and brunch dishes using the griddle station.
Ensure all food is prepared and presented to café standards.
Maintain a clean, organised, and hygienic work area.
Follow food safety, hygiene, and health & safety regulations.
Monitor stock levels and communicate shortages to management.
Work efficiently during busy service periods.
Support other kitchen team members when required.
Requirements
Previous experience working on a griddle station in a café, restaurant, or similar environment.
Strong knowledge of breakfast and brunch food preparation.
Ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure.
Good understanding of food hygiene and safety practices.
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends.
