Overview
This opportunity is with a multi-award-winning SEO and digital marketing agency with offices in London and Dubai. They work with high-growth brands across competitive industries including finance, iGaming, and eCommerce, delivering data-driven SEO campaigns that drive real commercial results.
Role
As their Managing Director you will lead Digital Agencys growth, brand positioning, and commercial performance. This role is about expansion, scaling revenue, market visibility, and service innovation while ensuring the agency remains one of the most recognised SEO brands in the UK and UAE markets. The MD will partner closely with their CFO (who runs operations and delivery) to ensure growth plans are met with the right capacity, systems, and execution power. In summary, they want someone thats going to come in and give the company a boost of brand, reputation & sales i.e. able to level up the agency.
Responsibilities
-Strategic Growth & Commercial Performance
Own commercial growth strategy MRR, EBITDA, and client retention.
Lead sales, marketing, and client success functions.
Build and launch a high-performing Digital PR department that complements SEO delivery.
Develop inbound and outbound marketing initiatives to grow brand exposure and lead flow.
Ensure profitability through pricing, positioning, and high-value client acquisition.
-Brand & Market Leadership
Elevate the agencys profile through PR, awards, thought leadership, and partnerships.
Represent the brand at industry events, conferences, and media opportunities.
Drive visibility in AI, LLM, and Geo-optimised SEO conversations to stay ahead of industry trends.
-People & Culture
Lead Heads of SEO, PPC, Sales, and (future) Digital PR commercially.
Mentor leadership teams to build confidence, autonomy, and results orientation.
Maintain alignment between departments to ensure growth targets are achieved.
-Strategic Collaboration with CFO
Align sales forecasts with operational capacity.
Translate growth plans into execution roadmaps with delivery and finance teams.
Jointly review Growth Performance Dashboard to drive informed decisions.
Required
Proven leadership experience scaling a digital or SEO agency.
Digital PR experience (as you will be setting this up for the company)
Extensive SEO experience
An existing role in an agency; running one, ideally
Commercial/sales experience; driving new business
Experienced at events, history of pushing/boosting a personal or company brand
Strong commercial acumen and hands-on experience driving revenue and profit.
Successful track record launching or relaunching new service lines (digital PR preferred).
Deep understanding of SEO, PPC, Digital PR and agency growth models.
Exceptional leadership and communication skills.
