Overview
Position Summary: To maintain cleanliness and hygiene within the kitchen area by washing pots, pans, and kitchen utensils. Support the kitchen team by ensuring all cleaning and basic food preparation duties are carried out efficiently and safely.
Responsibilities
* Wash pots, pans, utensils, and other kitchen equipment to a high standard.
* Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing area and kitchen floors.
* Assist with receiving and storing deliveries.
* Ensure proper disposal of waste and recycling.
* Clean kitchen surfaces, equipment, and food preparation areas.
* Support basic food prep under supervision, if required.
* Comply with food hygiene and health & safety standards.
* Report any issues with equipment or cleanliness to the Head Chef.
