Overview

Hedin Automotive BMW & MINI is looking for a detail‑oriented and organized Purchase Ledger Assistant to join our busy accounts team. This is a great opportunity to develop your skills with one of the world’s most admired brands in the automotive industry.


YOUR ROLE

As the Purchase Ledger Assistant, youll play a key role in supporting the accounts team by maintaining and assisting with the purchase ledger process.


Responsibilities

* Filing of invoices and supplier statements
* Input of invoices to Dealer Management/Accounting System
* Month‑end admin support
* Reconcile supplier statements ahead of BACS runs
* Monitor the Purchase Ledger inbox and handle queries
* Update spreadsheets and accounting databases
* Manage office supplies and handle general office tasks
* Communicate professionally with suppliers
* Other ad‑hoc duties as required


Your Profile

* A proactive team player with excellent organisational and administrative skills
* Interest in accounts payable
* Good numerical skills with a keen eye for detail
* Basic/intermediate knowledge of MS Office, including Microsoft Excel
* Able to handle repetitive tasks whilst maintaining a high level of accuracy

SALARY AND HOURS

Salary: £22,222.20 per annum

Working hours: Monday – Friday, 8:30 am – 4:30 pm (35 hours per week).

Role is office‑based.
