A quick look at the role
As a Service Coordinator, you will liaise with Drivers daily to ensure collections and deliveries are carried out on time and to a high standard. You will be the main point of contact for our customers and must communicate effectively through email and telephone.
Your Core Responsibilities
* Allocate and schedule jobs to maximise operational and logistical performance
* Liaise with drivers regularly throughout the day
* Process all incoming customer queries
* Coordinate with Account Managers and Depot Supervisors to inform them of potential customer service issues
* Collaborate closely with the Transport Team
* Answer all incoming phone enquiries related to collections
* Handle customer complaints professionally, ensuring high customer service standards
* Set up new services and customers, accurately entering information into the database, including pricing
* Work with the finance team to resolve customer queries
* Assist with stock control
Our Essential Requirements
* Strong customer service and communication skills with clients and team members
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially advanced Excel skills for reporting and data analysis
* Experience working with databases
* Understanding of logistics operations and route planning
