Amour Recruitment are currently recruiting for an Electrical Design Engineer for our client based in Portsmouth.
The successful candidate would need to have experience in electronics and hydraulics.
Job Description:
* In-depth knowledge of marine electrical standards and practical installations.
* Proficiency in PLC programming, particularly Siemens PLCs.
* Strong fault-finding skills with a logical and methodical approach.
* Experience with electric motors, switching circuits, and motor controllers.
* Knowledge of marine Canbus systems like NMEA2000 and ruggedised sensors used in harsh environments.
* Worked with Electro-Mechanical assemblies.
* Proficiency in using Eplan and Auto CAD for design and documentation.
* Expertise in electrical circuit design (AC/DC).
* Ability to create and interpret detailed schematics, technical drawings, and circuit diagrams.
