Substantive Post – Part‑time 20 hours per week – Band 3 – Salary Range £29,103 – £31,409 per annum (pro rata) – Plus Distant Islands Allowance of £2,578 per annum (pro rata)

Key responsibilities
Support specimen reception by ensuring accurate processing and documentation within a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment.
Qualifications
* Science‑based higher education grades or equivalent
* National 5 grades or equivalent
* Laboratory‑based training equivalent to SVQ3 level
* Effective written and verbal communication skills
* Numeracy and a willingness to develop knowledge
* Attention to detail and ability to work in a small team in a fast‑paced setting
