Role: Bank Assistant Chef
The responsibilities of the Bank Assistant Chef include:
1. Delivering a high-quality, versatile catering service tailored to our customers’ individual needs, including special diets.
2. Assisting with planning and creating nutritionally balanced meals.
3. Promoting and monitoring food hygiene and safety standards.
4. Maintaining current risk assessments and ensuring the kitchen is kept to a high standard of cleanliness.
5. Working independently in the absence of the Chef Manager.
6. Monitoring and ordering stock, as well as receiving deliveries.
Skills and Experience:
1. Previous experience in a catering environment is essential, including experience cooking for various groups.
2. A valid Basic Food Hygiene Certificate is required.
3. Knowledge of health and safety procedures and operation of catering equipment is essential.
4. Friendly and approachable attitude with good communication skills.
5. Level 2 Diploma in Catering and Hospitality or equivalent knowledge.
