I am looking to speak with a Midlands-based Geo-Environmental Engineer, Geotechnical Engineer, or Engineering Geologist from a consultancy or site investigation contractor with the drive to develop their consulting skills on a range of brownfield development projects for a well-respected Geo consultancy.
As a Geo-Environmental Engineer, the role will enhance your skills throughout all technical phases of projects both on-site and in the office. Duties include desk studies & walkovers, ground investigations, land quality assessments, interpretive reports, risk assessments, remediation strategy design, and validation.
Although you will be brought in as a Geo-Environmental Engineer, you will also deliver a range of large-scale geotechnical projects, gaining experience in earthworks (specifications and implementation), foundation design, and reporting.
To proceed as a Geo-Environmental Engineer, it is expected that you have:
* 1st degree in geology, engineering geology, geotechnics, geo-environmental engineering, or related geo-science.
* Experience within the UK completing phase 1 & 2 site investigations, logging soil & rock samples, site monitoring.
* Ideally, the ability to deliver reports on a factual and/or interpretive basis.
* UK Driving licence
