We are seeking a Claims Leader - Advisory to join our Claims Operations Team at Marsh. This role will be based out of our Norwich office. It is a hybrid role requiring at least 3 days a week in the office.
The role: Claims Leader - Advisory
The Claims Leader - Advisory will oversee service delivery within our specialty Claims team and manage a team of 20-25 Claims Handlers and Team Managers. You will be part of the Leadership team, ensuring strategic objectives are communicated and delivered, reporting to the UK Head of Claims Operations.
Key responsibilities include:
* Managing, leading, and coaching colleagues to achieve KPIs and client satisfaction.
* Providing strategic guidance on regulatory and market imperatives.
* Improving claims processing efficiency and facilitating fast-tracking opportunities.
* Partnering with regional and country leadership to innovate and identify new revenue models.
* Designing and evaluating claims operations processes and strategies.
* Developing innovative solutions to departmental risks and operational controls.
* Negotiating with insurers to ensure favorable client and departmental outcomes.
* Maintaining relationships with regional advocacy teams.
* Resolving escalated claims issues of high complexity.
* Ensuring operational controls align with global standards.
* Leading data improvement initiatives for Claims.
* Implementing solutions for efficiency improvements and evolving the Target Operating Model.
* Ensuring regulatory compliance and documentation.
* Focusing on data-driven discussions and developing a high-performance team culture.
Requirements:
* Proven team leadership experience.
* Expertise in Specialist product lines such as Aviation, Energy, Liability, and Property Damage.
* Experience in a commercial claims environment.
* Knowledge of insurer claims propositions and best practices.
* Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
* Data capabilities to influence decision-making.
