Reed Talent Solutions is partnering with United Utilities to find an Administrator to join our multi-functional Drainage Area team. This team of up to 80 employees is responsible for delivering both reactive and planned work across the wastewater network and its associated assets. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring the smooth running of operations through comprehensive administrative support.
Location: Carlisle CA2 5SH
Contract Type: 12 month contract through Reed (temp to perm opportunity)
Salary: £14.95 Per hour PAYE

The Role:
As an Administration Assistant, you will:
* Coordinate internal and external communications, including complaints and information requests.
* Track written and escalated complaints, ensuring Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are met.
* Provide administrative support at meetings, including note-taking and minute distribution.
* Monitor and escalate action logs and completion of tasks.
* Manage vehicle, tools, and equipment inventory.
* Oversee stock control and procurement of goods and services (e.g. PPE, tools, uniforms).
* Collate shift and standby rotas.
* Book training courses and liaise with scheduling teams.
* Record and collate regulatory, statutory, and performance data for audit compliance.
* Log asset surveys and inspections on appropriate trackers.
* Collate daily vehicle check sheets and defect notices.
* Track fuel card transactions.
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
* Strong organisational and time management skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
* Excellent communication skills for liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
* A flexible and supportive approach to work.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint).
* A valid driving licence and access to a suitable vehicle for off-site meetings.
