About the apprenticeship
Duties
• Act as a first point of contact for HR queries, responding professionally to emails and enquiries
• Support recruitment administration, including references, DBS checks and interview coordination
• Assist with onboarding processes, preparing induction materials and maintaining personnel records
• Provide support with learning & development activities, including coordinating training sessions and maintaining records
• Support HR reporting and carry out mini-audits to ensure compliance
• Maintain accurate and confidential records in line with GDPR
• Provide administrative support for wellbeing initiatives and health & safety activities
• Produce documents such as letters, spreadsheets and meeting notes
• Attend meetings and contribute to process improvements

2. Good written and verbal communication skills
3. Basic IT skills (email, Word, Excel, Teams)

• Experience in a customer-facing or support role (any setting)
• Interest in wellbeing or staff engagement
• Familiarity with spreadsheets or data entry
