Birmingham office, covering West Midlands, Gloucestershire, Worcestershire and occasionally around Derbyshire/Nottinghamshire. Typically working Monday to Friday 39 hours.
Overview
As a Contracts Manager for Novus, you’ll see the impact and improvements your role delivers to your customers and team every day – taking satisfaction to whole new levels. Responsibilities
* Manage selection and formation of site personnel teams (incl. sub‑contractors) as determined by individual contracts.
* Programme and plan works, familiar with construction phase plans.
* Manage site personnel, work activities and resources to meet contract requirements.
* Control contract progress, focusing completion within time frames and budget, working closely with commercial team.
* Ensure all necessary contract documentation / reports are accurate and produced in a timely manner.
* Overall Health & Safety responsibility of site ensuring relevant risk assessments, method statements, toolbox talks are all in place.
* Attend monthly client meetings to review performance and future planning of works.
* Report to the Operations Manager, support preparation, processing and selection of estimates, bids and tenders and development of procurement programme.
* Assist in presentation of the contract brief to the client.
Qualifications
* Experience of planned and retrofit works contract including internal and external works within a social housing environment.
* SMSTS, First Aid or associated NVQ (support to renew if expired).
* IFE Level 2 qualified preferred, experience working to FIRAS standards.
* Full UK driving licence.
* DBS check required.
* Self‑starter, focused on delivery and effective communication.
