MET Technician Vacancy in Luton Accident Repair Centre!
1. Luton Accident Repair Centre
2. Up to £56,000 basic (£24 per hour)
3. £65,000+ OTE (Personal Efficiency bonus + Workshop bonus)
4. Monday to Friday: 8:00am - 5:00pm (some flexibility)
5. Overtime available

Our client, a well-established Accident Repair Centre in Luton, is currently looking for an experienced and qualified MET Technician to join their growing team.

Key Responsibilities:
7. Carry out mechanical, electrical, and trim (MET) work on allocated vehicles
8. Dismantle and reassemble vehicles accurately and efficiently
9. Carry out fault-finding, diagnostic checks, and repair work
10. Fit new parts and ensure correct reassembly to manufacturer standards
11. Carry out inspections and testing of completed work
12. Identify additional faults or safety-related repair requirements
13. Carry out road testing where required in a safe and legal manner
14. Ensure all work is completed to a high standard of quality and safety
Requirements:
15. Proven experience as an MET Technician within an accident repair/bodyshop environment
16. Strong attention to detail and quality awareness
17. Good diagnostic and mechanical knowledge
18. Ability to manage workload in a fast-paced workshop
19. Strong communication and teamwork skills
20. ATA accreditation is advantageous but not essential
Beneifts:
21. Competitive basic salary of up to £54,000 (£23 per hour)
22. OTE £65,000+ through efficiency and workshop bonuses
23. Monday to Friday working pattern (8am–5pm)
24. Overtime available
