As the Senior Podiatrist you will cover a range of podiatry services. Our work focuses on routine and ulcer care for the patients with high-risk feet including patients with diabetes, rheumatoid conditions and other complex health backgrounds. You will have excellent communication, organisational, interpersonal skills and enthusiasm for improving patient care. The ability to liaise effectively with patients, other podiatry colleagues and the wider members of the healthcare team such GPs, district nurses, MDTs to ensure timely delivery of care and treatment will be important. In addition, you would get the opportunity to rotate through the diabetic foot clinic.

The Senior Community Podiatry role is a full-time position, we would also welcome part time applications with a minimum of 22.5 hours. We can be flexible with how hours are met; this can be discussed at interview. Being a driver is essential for this role and having access to a car.

You will work alongside our hospital diabetic foot care services and community podiatry services. You will be responsible for:
* The assessment, diagnosing, planning and implementation of high-risk podiatric care, including ulcer management, for patients with a wide range of clinical needs.
* Providing education and health promotion.
* Providing a high-quality person-centred approach to care delivery which always considers people's safety, privacy, and dignity.
