Step into a role where your expertise makes a real impact, the role is responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate completion of key financial tasks in line with established accounting policies and standards.
A strong emphasis is placed on embedding robust financial controls across all activities to maintain data integrity and compliance.
The position requires building and sustaining effective working relationships with Finance Hub (FHub) and business partners, becoming a reliable point of contact known for consistent delivery and measurable support.
A continuous improvement mindset is essential, with a focus on identifying and implementing enhancements to financial processes, systems, and working practices to drive operational efficiency and service excellence.
Qualifications & Experience
* Part qualified in final stages of ACA, ACCA or CIMA with 3 years + experience within finance role.
* Proven track record of month-end close processes incorporating financial analysis.
* Experience partnering teams / people through understanding of technical accounting frameworks and problem solving. Being to go to person to consult on matters of subject expertise.
* Knowledge and understanding of SSC & R2R processes.
* Involvement in process improvement initiatives.
* Attention to detail with a proactive approach to obtaining appropriate supporting evidence
* Initiative-taking individual with proactive and curious nature, able to effectively manage multiple Stakeholders requirements whilst maintaining high quality throughout.
