Overview
BAE Systems are seeking an experienced SAP Basis / Solution Manager DevOps Engineer to join an established Digital team supporting enterprise-scale SAP platforms across hybrid and cloud environments.
Responsibilities
1. Supporting and maintaining live SAP systems and users
2. Managing SAP Solution Manager including monitoring, ITSM, ChaRM, and landscape management
3. Configuring and operating SAP Cloud ALM for hybrid and cloud-centric monitoring
4. Designing and maintaining SAP BTP and hybrid connectivity solutions
5. Performing SAP installations, upgrades, patches, transports, and system copies
6. Driving service improvements, incident reduction, and operational automation
7. Working closely with Product Teams, Architects, Engineers, suppliers, and stakeholders
8. Supporting Agile and DevOps delivery methodologies including Scrum and Kanban
The successful candidate will have strong hands-on SAP Basis administration experience alongside solid knowledge of:
9. SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA
10. SAP NetWeaver
11. SAP Solution Manager
12. SAP Cloud ALM
13. SAP BTP
14. SAP Cloud Connector and SAProuter
15. Hybrid integration and connectivity
16. ITIL processes and ServiceNow
