* Support strategic initiatives such as new medicine introductions in community pharmacy and weight management services
* Communicate complex topics clearly and confidently to diverse audiences, including in client presentations and workshops
* Stay informed on UK healthcare data sources (e.g. SNOMED-CT), regulatory frameworks (e.g. GDPR, NHS IG, HRA), and trends in real-world evidence and clinical trial recruitment
* Build and maintain strong relationships with external clients and internal stakeholders
* Contribute to raising Optum’s profile in the life sciences space and promoting our unique value proposition

Who you’ll be

Essential skills and experience:

* Experience in life sciences, healthcare consulting, or real-world evidence

* Familiarity with UK regulatory and ethical frameworks (GDPR, NHS IG, HRA)
* Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
* Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
* Proficiency in MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Visio); MS Project a plus
* Strategic thinker with a proactive mindset and attention to detail

Desirable experience:

* Background in NHS, government, pharma, biotech, or CRO environments
* Experience with funding bodies, innovation hubs, or cross-sector initiatives
* Understanding of clinical IT systems and healthcare data architecture
