HSE Administrator (HSE,OSH,SHEQ) In our business, our success in all things related to Health and Safety, caring for our environment and quality management has played a large part in our excellent reputation in the industry. Our SHEQ (Safety, Health, Environment and Quality) department is crucial to this success. We are now looking for a super-efficient administrator to continue this success by supporting the SHEQ function across the business This is a brilliant opportunity for an experienced, efficient administrator interested in the world of health and safety and quality management. The role will be based at the Adcock Head Office, which is located in Sawston, Cambridgeshire. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide essential administrative support to the SHEQ team with a focus on fire safety, health and safety, building safety. Communication and Coordination: • Facilitating health and safety meetings and training courses for employees. • Liaising with external health and safety authorities (e.g., regulators or inspectors). • Managing incoming and outgoing communication for the team's areas of responsibility. • Diary and meeting management. Compliance & Documentation: • Keeping up to date and ensuring compliance with current health and safety legislation. i • Organizing occupational health and safety related surveys. • Using systems to manage and review records, documents, and data, and producing reports as required. • Maintaining the fire, health and safety IT systems. Operational Support: • Vetting of contractors and conducting subsequent site inspections. • Assisting with tender/submission documentation. • Contributing towards the delivery of excellent services by providing high quality administrative support to the SHEQ team. Mentoring and training • Facilitate HSE training requirements as needed. • Support the branches and the training centre in the management of trainees in SHEQ matters. • Assist with assessments and investigations. • Key interfaces with all site personnel, including front line and management staff and contractors, Internal/external auditors and regulatory bodies. CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS • Experience in a similar administration role in a busy working environment with regular use of databases. • Excellent IT skills. • Confident and clear communicator • Ability to establish rapport and positive working relationships with a wide variety of internal and external customers at all levels • Excellent organization and prioritization skills • High commercial awareness with the ability to understand the commercial impact of actions You may have experience of the following: HSE Administrator, SHEQ Administrator, Health and Safety Administrator, Safety Administrator, Environment and Quality Administrator, HSEQ Coordinator, Compliance Administrator, Safety Support Officer, SHEQ Assistant, HSE Support, etc. REF-225 057
