The Vacancy Advocacy Support Worker - Empower Voices, Drive Change Do you want to make a real difference by empowering individuals to have their voices heard? At Inspire, we're seeking an Advocacy Support Worker to join our Mental Health & Addiction team. This is an exciting opportunity to support service users across Northern Ireland, ensuring they have access to advocacy and information that promotes dignity, choice, and rights. Why This Role Matters As an Advocacy Support Worker, you'll play a vital role in promoting client engagement, facilitating group advocacy meetings, and supporting individuals to influence decisions about their care and services. You'll help create a culture where service users feel heard and respected. What You'll Do Coordinate and facilitate group advocacy meetings in various settings, including inpatient wards and supported living services. Promote and encourage client participation in advocacy services regionally. Build and maintain positive relationships with professionals and stakeholders. Maintain accurate records, including meeting minutes. Deliver training sessions to clients and service users. Provide monthly and annual monitoring information. Ensure compliance with GDPR and Inspire policies. What We're Looking For Experience: Proven experience motivating, supporting, and mentoring mental health service users. Skills: Ability to work independently and self-motivate. Competent in using Microsoft Office and information systems. Other Requirements: Flexibility to meet service needs. Full current driving licence and access to a car (reasonable adjustments considered). Must be registered or apply for registration with NISCC upon appointment.
