Responsibilities
* Manage and develop administrative services in HMP Shotts.
* Facilitate effective patient care by implementing NHS systems and audit/monitoring the local administration team.
* Act as personal assistant to the Health Care Manager and support the Prison Health Care Administration Manager.
* Provide support to staff, management and clinicians, including production of rotas and setting objectives.
* Deliver training via KSF and PDP for the administration team.
* Ensure adherence to Once for Scotland policies, review and update data, and identify remedial action for non‑compliance.
* Resolve day‑to‑day operational issues, liaise with Estates, Hotel Services, Health & Safety and contractors, and set contingency plans.
Qualifications
* HNC in Business Administration and/or Information Technology or equivalent experience.
* Experience managing and supervising staff within a large multi‑function service.
* Knowledge of General Practice Administration.
* Understanding of financial systems and proven experience in budget monitoring/management and data collection.
